Turquoise cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of turquoise from China, cut from hand selected rough fresh from this year's Tucson shows. The stone has wonderfully appealing golden russet and sky blue hues, shading to greens where the two blend, with nicely contrasting chocolate and black spiderwebbed. This material has been stabilized by a hardening process, as is most modern turquoise, so it will wear wonderfully, without darkening or dimming over the years. The cab has a nicely rounded dome of 6mm, and it has a smooth glossy polish both front and back.
