Charoite cab ~
Offered here is a delightful cabochon of charoite, from the only deposit where it's ever been found, in Russia. This cab has a nice degree of pearly chatoyance, and rich purple coloration. But what sets it apart is the large areas and pools of translucent feldspar, into which the purple shades entwine. The stone has a rounded dome of 4+mm, a curvy designer shape, and a fine glossy polish both front and back.
