Dinosaur bone cab ~
Offered here is a splendid cabochon of Utah's fossilized dinosaur bone, from Utah. This highly silicated material is many millions of years old, a marvelous example of the natural preservation of our earth's ancient, extinct 'thunder lizards'. Over millenia, the cells in this fossil bone have been replaced with gorgeous bluish-purple agate. Check out the enlarged photos to see the fascinating details. The brown to black cell walls form a lattice-like network, forever frozen in time. It's an amazing example of collectible dinosaur bone! The cab has a rounded dome of 8mm, a smoothly rounded designer 'drop' shape, and a great glassy polish both front and back.
