Bull Canyon agate cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of beautiful Bull Canyon agate, from the Northern California/Nevada border area. This is a terrific agate that's not often seen, and that's a shame because it's truly wonderful stuff! I fell in love with it from the very first, and bought a bunch from the claim holder. It features a neat pattern of tube-like stringers and mosses, reminding me of stylized flames, and several connected fortifications in off white. The agate base is nicely translucent, as you can see from the last photo. The stone has a well rounded dome of 5mm, a graceful 'flame' shape, and a smooth glassy polish both front and back.
