King cobra jasper cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon cut from king cobra jasper, from India. This material arrived a few years ago now with deliciously bright tropical hues, quite unlike the cobra jasper I'd seen before, which is drab by comparison. The new stuff is light years more exciting. This example is mottled pink and coral, with lacy fortifications of burnt orange and gold. The grayish pool is composed of a quartz blend, adding interest. Try a cab of this delightful jasper, I'm sure you'll be pleased! The stone has a well rounded dome of nearly 6mm, a long designer 'spear' shape, and a fabulous glassy polish both front and back.
