Offered here is a cabochon of morrisonite jasper, from Oregon's Morrison Ranch digs. This rare material is the most sought after member of the porcelain jasper family, hailed by many as the king of jaspers. This example has an array of complimentary hues including pleasant blue shades, mottled avocado, rusty streaks, gold, ochre and more!. The cab has a nicely rounded dome of 6mm, a designer 'flame' shape, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
