Offered here is a cabochon of malachite, from Zaire. It features the classic beauty of countless fine bandings in rich, vividly contrasting shades of light and dark green. It's a unique example, with swirls around a couple interesting bullseyes, sure to look absolutely magnificent set in either silver or gold. No doubt! The cab has a well rounded dome of 5mm, a gracefully curved designer 'flame' shape, with a super glossy polish both front and back.
