Tabu Tabu jasper cab ~
Offered here is a striking cabochon of tabu tabu, also sometimes called 'smoke and embers' jasper, or forest fire jasper, from Africa. It has a brecciated pattern a lot like Stone Canyon jasper, only in bright crimson red with some patches of gray, white and pink, contrasting strongly against charcoal black. It's easy to see how this jasper got its name; the warm hues are indeed much like the hot glowing embers of a fire. Awesome!! The cab has a nicely rounded dome of 6mm and a designer 'spearhead' shape, polished both front and back.
