Imperial jasper cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of clown imperial jasper, terrific old stock Mexican material the like of which hasn't been found in years. If any does turn up in the marketplace, it typically commands quite a steep price. This gemmy example of porcelain jasper features tropical shades of peach, orange, green and yellow, with a hint of orbing. Some areas show a bit of desireable translucence too. No doubt you'll be delighted and inspired when this one arrives! It has a high rounded dome of 6mm, and a crisp designer 'spear' shape, brought to a brilliant polish both front and back.
