Tigeriron cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of Australian tigeriron. This example was a little tough to photograph, but it has great flashing patches of chatoyant golden tigereye, and ribbons of dark silvery metallic hematite both separating and framing them. Down one side is a reddish stripe of jasper. The contrast is exciting in hand, despite these poor photos. The cab has a long designer shape, a high rounded dome of 6mm, and it is beautifully polished both front and back.
