Polka dot agate cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of Priday polka dot agate cut by Christopher. This old material is also known as 'blue ice', which hails from Oregon. This fine example has a nice array of polka dots, the darkest of which are actually shiny metallic. It also has a uniquely attractive pattern all its own, and an almost opalescent quality to its icy blue agate. However, there are a couple odd hairlines present, typical of polka dot agates, if you look closely in the orange area. It's solid nonetheless. The stone has a crisp triangular shape that compliments the pattern nicely, with a low rounded dome of 4.5mm, and a brilliantly glassy polish both front and back.
