Madagascar agate cab ~
Offered here is a fascinating cabochon of dendritic agate, from Madagascar. This stone features extra large tubes with subtle purple to orangish undertones, that stand out sharply in a translucent base. This variety of agate very much reminds me of Montana agate, with similar coloration, as well as inky black dendrites. I think it'll make an extraordinary item of jewelry, or a fine addition to your aggie collection. Please note: There is a small void on the backside at the large end. The cab has a low rounded dome of 4mm, a long designer 'flame' shape, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
