Indonesian agate cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of carnelian agate, from Indonesia. This gemmy example has some truly outstanding banding in delicious peachy orange and yellow chiffon coloration. In hand, it's rather impressive, even though the color change between bands is somewhat subtle in most of the stone. The rounded end is a bit more saturated, and includes a bullseye (tube) for added character. Check out the backlit photo enlarged, it's AWESOME! The stone has a well rounded dome of nearly 6mm, a designer teardrop shape, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
