Laguna agate cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of Laguna agate, from Mexico. It was cut from an old stock nodge that was once part of a collector's horde, and has some delightful fortification banding in bright crimson red and yellow-orange. The translucent pool is nearly filled with an unusual spray of reddish flecks. Surrounding the bands are some fascinating mossy plumes in ochre. This one, unique as it is, ought to look grand in even the very simplest of settings. It has a low rounded dome of 4mm, a sweet shape, and it is nicely polished both front and back.
