Owyhee jasper cab ~
Offered here is a large, deluxe cabochon of Owyhee jasper, from Oregon. This famous member of the porcelain jasper family features delightful figure in creamy yellow chiffon and ochre, framing appealing streaks and patches of deep red. One of my all time favorite jaspers, this one's a splendid example of the so-called old stock red that's getting tough to come by these days. The stone has a nicely rounded dome of 6mm, a bold designer shape, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
