Forest fire jasper cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon tabu tabu, also sometimes called 'smoke and embers' jasper, or forest fire jasper, from Africa. It features an interesting brecciated pattern in blood red and charcoal black, with the strong contrast of white edgings and translucent gray quartz/agate. There are some nice yellowish areas too. I can think of about a zillion uses for such a striking stone, and know you'll have no difficulty setting it to great effect. It's always a natural crowd pleaser! The cab has a crisp designer shape, a nicely rounded dome of 5mm, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
