Regency rose plume agate cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of regency rose plume agate, from the famous digs in eastern Oregon. This example was cut from old stock I've been hording for years, and only recently cut. You know, I love the old material! It's so much more colorful than the newer stuff. This one has pastel peach colored plumes, with darker orange and rosy edges, that stand out nicely against a butterscotch yellow background. In hand, it has a delightful depth that these flat photos don't quite capture. The cab has a well rounded dome of 5.5mm, and a curvy designer shape with a glassy polish both front and back.
