Rainforest jasper cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of Australia's rainforest 'jasper'. It features an attractive orbed pattern in avocado and orange shades, with several thundereggs embedded within. The material is actually highly silicated rhyolite, easily hard enough so that it finishes quite nicely. The cab has a well rounded dome of nearly 7mm, a crisp designer 'spear' shape, and a great glassy polish both front and back.
