Willow creek jasper cab ~
Offered here is a unique cabochon of top quality Willow Creek jasper, from Idaho. This outstanding porcelain-like material is sometimes refered to as the Queen of jaspers, and the best has always been a favorite of collectors worldwide. This monotoned example has fascinating streamer patterns in smoky grays against a creamy background, and on the whole, it's perhaps a bit darker than shown in the photos. Oddly, there are several tiny flecks of shiny silvery metal present. This jasper happens to be one of Rain's favorites so you may have noticed I don't offer too many Willow Creek stones... It's only now that I have plenty to work with that I can occasionally sneak one by her. -smile- The cab has a low rounded dome, a versatile designer shape, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
