Ocean jasper cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of Madagascar's ocean jasper. This eye-catching example has a background several shades of rich advocado and forest greens, overlaid with pastel yellow fortifications and eyes of various sizes. This type of ocean jasper strikes me as having a distinctly exotic flavor, and the grouping of big, bold white bullseyes across the center really helps that along. The stone has a generously high rounded dome of 7.5mm, a designer 'flame' shape, and a great glassy polish both front and back.
