Pietersite cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of African pietersite. This example features golden yellow and orange chatoyance, with hints of light blue to greenish blue in a fiery, swirling pattern that dances with the light. Please be sure to click the pics to enlarge them to full size to see the fine details. It has a low but nicely rounded dome, and a fine glassy polish both front and back. And considering how the cost of fine pietersite has sky-rocketed in recent years, my per carat price for a stone of this size and quality is a steal!
