Agua Nueva agate cab ~
Offered here is a deluxe cabochon of Agua Nueva agate, from Mexico. I often find that I favor this material even more than its long prized and famous cousin, Laguna agate, found nearby. This example features orange mosses framing a pool of fuzzy pink tubes. Interestingly, a close look reveals that the white fortifications are composed of tiny dots, which characterizes many collectible Mexican agates. The cab has a high rounded dome of 6mm, a versatile designer shape, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
