Jellybean jasper cab ~
Offered here is a fancy cabochon of old stock jellybean jasper, also known as Haystack Butte jasper, from eastern Oregon. This material is a wild brecciated party of vivid colors, including wine red, magenta, pink, and golden yellow/orange. I especially like the look of little 'islands' edged with yellow. No jasper collection is complete without some jellybean, or feature it as the heart of any type of jewelry creation you can imagine. The stone has a high rounded dome of 7mm, a versatile 'almond' shape, and a fine glassy polish both front and back.
