Offered here is a cabochon of butterfly jasper, from Mexico. This long time favorite brecciated jasper is a much sought after classic, and mighty tough to come by these days, in any quality. This cab is an outstanding example of grand old material, chock full of colorfully varied figure. Any odd lines are either totally and naturally healed or simply part of the pattern, so you just can't go wrong with this beauty; it definitely won't disappoint! The cab has a low rounded dome of 5mm, a crisp designer 'spear' shape, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
