moracco agate cab ~
Offered here is a fascinating cabochon of agate from Morocco. This unusual stone has several groupings of sagenitic plumes in dark brown, each edged with a yellowish hue. They frame a couple white cored fortifications of blended quartz and agate. Some areas of the agate itself has a subtly bluish cast to it that I find attractive, with areas of translucence, as shown by the backlit photo. I think it'll make an interesting item of jewelry, or a fine addition to your aggie collection. The cab has a well rounded dome of 5mm, a crisp designer shape, and despite a wee bit of waviness, it has a slick glassy polish both front and back.
