Turquoise ~
Offered here is a LARGE deluxe cabochon of top notch spiderweb turquoise, from China. This one has absolutely GORGEOUS webbing, and excellent contrast. The bright sky blue coloration is accentuated by the rich golden ochre webs, changing the hue from blue to avocado and spring green in places. No doubt this material has been stabilized by some hardening process, as is most modern turquoise, but I don't believe it has been subjected to artificial coloring of any kind. It polished like a dream, and will wear wonderfully, without changing over the years. The cab has a generously high rounded dome of 7mm, an elongated 'almond' shape, and a slick glossy polish both front and back.
