Spiderweb obsidian cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of spiderweb obsidian, recently brought in from Mexico. This example came from rough that was hand selected because it was different from all the rest I saw. Normally, I do ok with photos, but this one has some special nuances that were tough to capture. It's nice! It has a artfully composed array of sky blue spiderwebbing contrasting against a soft charcoal background, lighter and just a bit bluer than usual. The string patterns each have subtle blackish auras around them that I particularly like. Try some, if you haven't already, you'll be pleased! The cab has a high rounded dome of 7mm, and a bold designer 'diamond' shape that is polished to a brilliant glassy shine both front and back.
