Priday moss agate cab ~
Offered here is a large deluxe cabochon of Priday tube agate, from the famous Priday Ranch digs in Oregon. It was cut from some very old stock that had been tucked away for decades, at least, in the cherished collection of the gentleman who dug it. (His wife recalls the two of them digging there in the early sixties.) This example has plenty going on in it, including an impressive array of tubes, strong water level lines, slate blue, white and carnelian agate, and a neat druzy patch adding sparkle to the mix. Please be sure to click to enlarge the photos of this translucent marvel, especially the backlit pic, so you can see the fine details. It is truly a uniquely distinguished cab, not overly dark or busy, as some Priday mosses tend to be. Whether you're a collector of fine rare agates, or a jewelry crafter looking to create a unique item of wearable art, this cab's got what you want! The cab has a low rounded dome, and a plump designer teardrop shape, polished both front and back.
