Tiger iron cab ~
Offered here is an extra fancy cabochon of tigeriron, from Australia. This knockout stone has brilliant golden flashes of chatoyant tigereye, gemmy rows of windows that are intricately framed by ribbons of dark silvery metallic hematite. I especially like how the large areas of darkly shiny hematite have a subtle banded pattern of lighter swirls. Add in the banded pattern of blood red jasper and you have a truly striking example, one you will probably want to keep as your very own. It will turn heads wherever it goes! The stone has a bold designer 'spearhead' shape you're sure to have fun with, a low but nicely rounded dome of 5mm, and a bright glassy polish both front and back.
