Marra Mamba tigereye cab ~
Offered here is a premium cabochon of genuine Marra Mamba tigereye, a rarity from Australia. This startling material is, in my opinion, the most awesome tigereye in the world, and this gem's a magnificent example of the highest calibre. It features dancing pearly chatoyance in streaks of reddish salmon orange, with a bit of blue, that roll and flash through the stone. They blend together, showing a hint of purple where the two primary colors touch: These are THE MOST PRIZED colors of all! There is no jasper present in this example, just a few patches of shiny metallic and sub-metallic hematite and magnetite. No cracks, fractures, pits or other blemishes to be found, so believe me when I say you won't find better anywhere! The cab has a high & well rounded dome of 6mm, a soft designer 'leaf' shape, and an extra brilliant polish, as befits a cab of this stature. The back is smooth sanded and flat.
