Royal Aztec lace agate ~
Offered here is a splendid cabochon of Mexican royal Aztec lace agate, cut by Christopher. Seldom seen, this old timey agate has become hard to come by these days, which is a pity. This example is nicely translucent, with pastel purple, lilac and pinkish peach hues, with delicate lacy bands in lighter shades. Some subtle eyes too! The stone has a high and well rounded dome of 7mm, a gracefully curved designer 'flame' shape, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
