Agua Neuva agate cab ~
Offered here is a deluxe cabochon of Agua Neuva agate, from Mexico. I often find that I favor this material even more than its long prized and famous cousin, Laguna agate, found nearby. This example features orange streamers and mossy plume-like figures mingled amongst delightful banding of pastel pink and lavender hues. The lightest area at center includes a scattering of tiny white dots, framing a small open pocket lined with sparkly drusy crystal, edged with pink. The cab has a high rounded dome of 6mm, a boldly crisp designer 'chevron' shape, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
