Montana agate cab ~
Offered here is a unique designer cabochon of Montana dendritic agate, cut from an odd flattened Yellowstone River nodule composed of thin layers. Hidden between some of those layers, I discovered these extra fancy dendrites. They look a lot like jet black snowflakes, don't they? Anyway, these three little friends have secret company: There are others that only reveal themselves when the stone is backlit. The background agate is a translucent milky white color, with a hint of opalescence to it that I really like. Whatever creative setting you can dream up, this one will help put it over the top, no doubt. It has an almost flat face with rounded edges, and it's polished both front and back.
