Jellybean jasper cab ~
Offered here is a fancy cabochon of top notch jellybean jasper, from Malheur County, Oregon; some call it Haystack jasper. This material is a wild brecciated party of vivid colors, like wine red, magenta, pink, and yellow/orange. I especially like the red 'island' in this example, edged with pools of blue agate. No jasper collection is complete without some jellybean, or feature it as the heart of any type of jewelry creation you can imagine. The stone has a rounded dome of 6mm, a bold designer shape, and a slick polish both front and back.
