Offered here is a deluxe cabochon of forest fire plume agate, a relative newcomer that hails from Idaho. It features a eye catching display of intricate plumes edged in deep wine red. That's followed by another band of white, and then clear, with banded water level lines diagonally in the center. Excellent contrast here, in a seldom seen and very distinctive agate. Definitely outstanding! The cab has a nicely rounded dome of 5.5mm, an attractive designer shape, and a fine glassy polish both front and back.
