Tourmalated quartz cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of tourmalated quartz, cut from a huge terminated Brazilian crystal. This quartz is chock full of jet black needles of tourmaline, scattered every which way. There are some also some interesting bubble-like inclusions, but otherwise the quartz is nearly water clear. Some photos seem to be missing...hmmm. This material is truly the very best of the best, the nicest tourmalated quartz I've ever had to work with; once it's gone, I have no idea if I'll ever find any more of this quality, so if you like it, grab it and make it yours! The stone has a beautifully high rounded dome of 7mm, a crisp designer 'spear' shape, and it is polished both front and back.
