Forest fire jasper cab ~
Offered here is a large & impressive cabochon tabu tabu, also sometimes called 'smoke and embers' jasper, or forest fire jasper, from Africa. It features an interesting brecciated pattern in blood red and charcoal grays, with some peach and white edgings. The pieces seem to almost float in a semi-translucent background of blended quartz/agate, colored gray and yellow. I can think of about a zillion uses for such a striking stone, and know you'll have no difficulty setting it to great effect. It's always a natural crowd pleaser! The cab has a plump designer 'guitar pick' shape, a high rounded dome of 6mm, and a smooth glassy polish both front and back.
