Offered here is an unusual cabochon of porcelain jasper from Mexico, called Exotica. This cab features an interesting pattern that reminds me, somehow, of a turtle's shell. Black webs form a frame around the many dusty rose spots, providing plenty of contrast against a background of silvery gray and old ivory. This is a truly expressive material that has boatloads of designer potential, and folks absolutely love the stuff; no doubt you will too! The stone has a high, well rounded dome of 7mm, a graceful designer 'flame' shape, and smooth glassy polish both front and back.
