Ocean jasper cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of Madagascar's ocean jasper, though as you can see, this beauty is truly more agate than jasper. It features gorgeous flowery orbs that are unusual in that the petals are actually pseudo-morphs of tiny crystals, radiating outward from the orange centers. The groups of 'flowers' are surrounded by subtle fortifications, druzy pockets and a background of delicate pastel in shades of lemon chiffon. The whole stone exhibits a warm translucence when backlit. No doubt this one will be gorgeous in even the simplest of settings! The stone has a low rounded dome, a sweet designer shape, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
