King cobra jasper cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon cut from king cobra jasper, from India. This material arrived a couple years ago now with deliciously bright tropical hues, quite unlike the cobra jasper I'd seen before, which is drab by comparison. The new stuff is light years more exciting. This example is mostly mango yellow to orange, with areas of crimson that are rather orby. The whitish pools are composed of a quartz blend, adding interest, along with some tiny black dendrites. Try a cab of this delightful jasper, I'm sure you'll be thrilled! The stone has a well rounded dome of 6.5mm, a versatile designer shape, and a fabulous polish both front and back.
