Imperial jasper cab ~
Offered here is a large, deluxe cabochon of imperial jasper, from Mexico. This cab was cut from grand old material, part of an old stash of porcelain jasper I've been hoarding. And if I didn't know better, I'd think this one was Willow Creek jasper. It has a curved streak in light and dark shades of muted blues and greens, with pastel yellow at one side, and pastel blue at the other. It's an awesome beauty, in its own quiet way. The stone has a high rounded dome of 7mm, a boldly crisp designer shape, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
