Agua Nueva agate cab ~
Offered here is a sweet little cabochon of Agua Nueva agate, from Mexico. I often find that I favor this material even more than its long prized and famous cousin, Laguna agate, found nearby. This example features orange moss and tubes, with those still inside the agate showing a warm pink hue. There are some nice fortifications too, composed of tiny dots, and some of the deeper bands have a very attractive purple color, though they're actually translucent. The cab has a low rounded dome just shy of 4.5mm, a versatile designer shape, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
