Inferno agate cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of top shelf inferno agate, a brand new Mexican dug on one of the Laguna agate sites. This example, cabbed from the very first nodule I sliced up, has an outrageously wild display of flame-like plumes in a very appropriate shades of crimson. There are also mossy plumes in deep red and burnt orange, and some ghostly fortifications too. The background agate is nicely translucent, butterscotch yellow in color. It's absolutely gorgeous stuff! And already I'm wishing for more! The cab has a well rounded dome of 6mm, a designer 'drop' shape, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
