Carasite jasper cab ~
Offered here is a unique cabochon of premium carasite jasper, from Oregon. This wonderful
material is a member of the porcelain jasper family, closely related to its more famous cousin,
morrisonite jasper, found nearby. Like morrisonite, it takes a dazzling shine. This stone is a
fine example, featuring a patchwork of patterns in shades that include creamy orange chiffon, pastel avocado, caramel, and light & dark olive, overlaid with lightning strokes of rusty red, maroon, and orange.
The stone has a nicely rounded dome of 5mm, a bold designer shape, and a great glassy polish both front and back.
