Confetti agate cab ~
Offered here is a sweet cabochon of confetti agate, from Mexico. This is an uncommon but classic material seldom seen in recent years, and one that's very appropriately named, as you can see. It's an upbeat carnival of festivity, packed with the characteristic 'islands' of pink and yellow confetti against a background that morphs from pink to caramel to blood red at the tip. This hard-to-find agate will be awesome set in either gold or silver, or a treasured addition to anyone's collection. The stone has a high rounded dome of 6.5mm, a gracefully curved designer shape, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
