Kingman turquoise cab ~
Offered here is a large cabochon of turquoise, from the venerable Kingman mine in Arizona. It features bright, electric turquoise-blue coloration, along with contrasting webs of rich chocolaty matrix. There are hints of greenish hues where it seems to blend into the turquoise. I must say, the color of this stone is much more attractive than these photos depict, being actually deeper and bluer. This is stabilized material, as is most modern turquoise, but it contains no artificial coloring of any kind. It cut beautifully, and will stand up to every day wear without changing or deteriorating over the years. The cab has a generously high rounded dome of 8+mm, a versatile designer shape, and it is finished with a smooth glossy polish both front and back.
