Trent agate cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of Trent sagenite agate, hailing only from one small dig near Trent, Oregon. This distinctive material is very rare, completely mined out long ago, prized for its wonderfully colorful figure. This agate is said to contain stibnite and realgar, which are rare minerals in their own right. Sure cuts an interesting cab, I must say! This unique stone features strong carnelian orange color that's nicely translucent, containing intricate sagenitic bursts that are subtly fortified. Those finger-like tubes are quite perfectly amazing! There are also a trio of pools surrounded with fortification banding, two of which have crystalline cores that sparkle like crushed ice. The stone has a nicely rounded dome of 5mm, a crisp designer shape, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
Size: 48x25mm
