Montana agate cab ~
Offered here is a splendid cabochon of Montana agate, cut from an old stock slice I 'found' at a recent gem show. heh This example has inky black dots afloat in a translucent agate background. The dendrites are stacked one upon the other in layers, adding the dimension of depth to the stone, though that really doesn't translate well in these flat photos. There's
a purplish cast to the dendrites that lay deeper within the stone. I'm sure you'll be well pleased when you see it in hand.
The cab has a nicely rounded dome of 5mm, and a glassy 'wet ice' polish both front and back
