Deming plume agate cab ~
Offered here is a splendidly busy cabochon of Deming plume agate, from New Mexico. It has some ornate sagenitic plumes in white curving up from the bottom, and above that is a crystalline pool framed with fortification bands. Other delightful details include a 'nest' of tiny reddish orange 'eggs', some intricate banding, and golden orange mosses. The rich blend of colors in this one remind me a little of Condor agate, but this agate really has a unique charm all its own. The stone has a high rounded dome of 6mm, a crisp designer shape, and a super glossy polish front and back.
