Confetti agate cab ~
Offered here is a large deluxe cabochon of choice confetti agate, from Mexico. This is an uncommon but classic material seldom seen in recent years, and one that's very appropriately named, as you can see. It's a real upbeat carnival of festivity, fairly packed with the characteristic 'islands' of confetti, in pink, maroon, and yellow, against a background of mauve and blood red. In addition, some of the background agate in the cab is translucent, especially at the large end, though I neglected to take a backlit photo. It'll be a knockout featured in either gold or silver, no doubt, or a splendid addition to your collection. The stone has a high rounded dome of 6.5mm, a gracefully fluid designer shape, and a super glossy polish both front and back.
